The Pontiac Lodge is a hotel with 10 rooms and 3 two-bedroom apartments, constructed in 1988, located across Mackinac Island's Main Street from Shepler's ferry dock.

All of the rooms have a private bath, remote control air conditioning and cable TV, and direct dial telephone. Two rooms have a jacuzzi bath.

All rooms have a refrigerator. Some rooms have a wet bar and microwave oven.
|
||
|
Two rooms have a king bed; seven rooms have one or two queen beds; the other rooms have a double or full size bed. Some rooms also have a day bed.

|
All rooms are second story rooms, accessed by an outdoor stairway.
|

|
Some rooms overlook Mackinac Island's picturesque Main Street.

Also available are two apartments above the V.I. next door. They are fully furnished with full kitchen and bath, living room and two bedrooms. They are not air-conditioned. The rate for these apartments is double the room rate at all times, and the same cancellation policy also applies (see below). A third, air-conditioned apartment is also available in the hotel.

Continental breakfast (coffee and either donuts or pastries) is served daily.
|
||
|
Bicycle parking and ski storage are provided on the grounds outside the hotel.

HOTEL RATES & POLICIES

Room Rental Rates:
Rates vary depending on day of the week, season, holidays, and special events. The rates range between $110.00 and $350.00 per night. Please call for details. |

Rates are based on double occupancy. The charge for extra guests is $15 per person per night (children aged 1-12, $5 per person; infants, no extra charge)

|
Check-In is at 3:00 PM and Check-Out is by 11:00 AM. Late check-out by pre-arrangement only.

Advance Deposit Required:
Reservations must be guaranteed with a deposit in the amount of one night's stay (plus 6% tax and 6% levy). We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express credit cards. We will accept a personal check only if we receive it within 7 days from the date the booking is made, and at least 14 days prior to the planned arrival date. Reservations are not guaranteed until we receive a deposit. Throughout the season, there are some special events which put a premium on lodging in the area. In these cases, a deposit of full payment must be made in order to reserve your room(s). |

Cancellation Policy:
There is always a $15.00 fee for cancellation. An advance deposit will be refunded (less a $15 processing fee) when a reservation is cancelled one month or more prior to the planned arrival date. An advance deposit will not be refunded when a reservation is cancelled less than one month prior to the planned arrival date unless we are able to re-rent the reserved room. If we are able to re-rent your room, a $15 processing fee will be subtracted from the deposit refund. For special events and weekends, the cancellation policy extends to 45 days prior to the event. There will be no refund unless we are able to re-rent your room(s). If we are able to re-rent, then there will be a $15.00 processing fee per room per night of cancellation. |

Early Check-Outs: If a reservation is shortened after arrival, the guest will be responsible for the original reservation balance unless we are able to re-sell the reserved room.
