If you are planning to fly to Mackinac Island from St. Ignace during the winter, we recommend that you call for a taxi on the Island (906-847-3713) the day before arrival. It can take those buggies a while to get up to the airport, and it's a bit of a walk to get downtown, especially if you've got luggage!
